Explanation,organisation,Rate 2009...



   You can get in touch with me by phone (00 336 50 58 56 59) a few (why not the day before) days before going fishing . Our starting point can be : Fishing harbour of chef de baie: (access to the port) ". 

   During the days fishing I will give you information concerning how the day will be organized , fish species  to be looked for and how to fish them.
   I can video you if you wish .
   Of course, all fishes which do not meet the legal size will be released .
  I organise an annual trophy on board,with all clients being informed by e-mail of their individual ranking and there will be reward for the winners.


Sphere of activities (range)

    The fishing area stretches as far as the eyes can see (6 milles in the west of the islands ,ré and oléron ,over 440 different fishing sites .)

Equipment supplied

    My high-quality equipment ensures you get excellent sensations while fishing (fishing rods , reels , line ,soft lures mégashad FLASHMER (cited as prime example) , spoon flashmer and surface lure,feather for mackerel,sardines (live baits))…

Target fishes

    The "Seabass" is the target number one because it is present from March to January (the medium size is 2 kilos for 55 cms).In summer (15 June to the 30 October) , the "Croacker"or"Meager"  resembles the giant sebass caught in the Pacific off the west coast of the States (king fish in la rochelle) is present ,it can reach two meters long and 80 kilos ,but generally it averages 3 to 30 kilos (the biggest one caught in 2008 weighed 26,2 kgs).

Techniques used

    The ship adrift fishing technique is the most interesting practise on board with soft lure, with live bait,surface lure,you'll have to be very concentrated .
  The fishing anchoring is perfect to catch the famous "gilt-head bream" (1 to 6 kilos). You can catch fishes beetween 1 to 30 kilos .

• RATE 2009 :
- 120 euros by person for a day (8 to 10 hours),
- 500 euros the nominative subscription for 5 fishing days 
- 500 euros the full booking boat (for 5 personns maximum)
- 60 euros for childrens between 8 to 14 years old and accompanying personnel .

The Yacht, access to the fishing port...

     My boat is a Gibsea 82, 8.2 meters long and 3 meters wide with a perfect security equipment (safety raft, VHF, radar..), professionnal fishing equipment (computer with Maxsea 3D, sounder Humminbird 1197c Side Imagin,GPS, racing driver).
    The engine is a Mercedes 170 cv inbord allow an average speed of 12 knots (maxi 15 knots), I can take 5 persons (+ me) in complete security and conviviality. 


    I can keep alive the fishes all the day because of my big fishwell (250 l)
My boat is perfect for the adrift fishing with a wide cockpit (3m*3m), you 'll have the possibility to go fishing at the front of the boat without any security problem if the sea is calm.

The two knots you have to know before coming...

Between the braid line and the nylon line, the most simple:

It's the most simple to to connect two different lines.

Me, I do 3 or 4 turns and that's OK !!

Some details about a day on board....

 
- The starting hour in the morning is between 6 and 10.00 o'clock, it depends of the meteorology conditions and the current for the duration of 8 to 9 hours.
- The clients keep their fishes and I require a quota (1 to 3 fishes by person by day)
- My season begins the first april and ends in december.
- Booking can be made first by E-mail, and then by telephone to finalise..
- I restrict to 5 persons only (+ me), for a better service.
- If you search specificaly the biggest meager, the best period is 15th july to 15th october.
- You just need to take your picnic and your USB key to get back your pictures.
- The rate can be paid by cheque or cash.(no credit card)
-The target for me to satisfy all my clientes, by the fishes and by the conviviality as well.
-Don't forget to bring a medicine (MERCALM) against the seasickness.
-I take pictures on bord, you're allowed to bring your own camera, I never sent pictures by e-mail so don't forget your USB key !!
- Fishing with me is very technical, everyone has to get involved at 100% if he wants a result !
- It's important to know the two knots before coming on bord.
